During the play-in game against Sacramento, I had these thoughts: 'Okay, we're down by one, but we still have a chance.' to figure out how to turn the game around and make a push for the playoffs. Early in the year, we had our share of mistakes and losses, but you understand that we're not that far from success. We know that change is inevitable. When you lose, you have to look in the mirror and say, 'What can we do to get better? What problems do we need to solve?' Fortunately, we have time to figure it out. We've had a lot of conversations with Steve Kerr, trying to figure out how to get back to where we want to be. It's a team effort, on and off the court.
We analyse our performances, study match sequences and identify areas where we can improve individually and as a team. There is no denying the disappointment we feel, but we cannot dwell on it. It’s not the ending we hoped for, but it’s not the end of our story. We will regroup, refocus and come back next season with renewed determination and hunger.
